CJ Monét is an R&B artist born and raised in North Carolina. Her sound blends contemporary soul with influences from Motown, funk, jazz, and pop. Inspired by artists like Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Erykah Badu, Stevie Nicks, and Carole King, she creates music rooted in soulful melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and genre-blending production.

CJ Monét recently released her album Confessions of a People Pleaser with Josh Emick of 68 Sound, which has been well received for its honest and emotive southern fusion sound. Blending elements of indie, gospel, country and jazz, CJ continues to create a sound that feels both timeless and uniquely hers.
