HELD Presents: Mark Brady, A Comedy Show Fundraiser

Friday, April 26
Doors: 7pm // Show: 8pm
 ADMISSION: $30
Come out and laugh for a good cause!

Held is a non-profit based in Greensboro that provides guaranteed income directly to people that need it. Founded in January of 2023, they work alongside agencies in our community to give direct, no-strings-attached financial support to people in need in the Greensboro community. Their partners in the community include Triad Goodwill, StepUp Ministries, and Triad Legal Group. Those organizations refer people to Held and they provide them with anywhere from $500 to $800 per month to support them on their journey wherever it may take them.

This is their first ever Held Presents fundraiser event, and every dollar raised at the door this evening will go directly to people in need in the Greensboro community.

Mark Brady is a native of Raleigh and a former winner of North Carolina’s funniest person contest. Brady’s humor is rooted in his life experiences, bringing an authentic and relatable style to the stage. His debut comedy album “Incognito” hit #2 on the iTunes comedy charts, and he’s a rising star in the comedy world. He’s been featured on the Late Late Show with James Corden, ESPN, and Sirius XM.

Joining him will be Jeremy Alder. Alder, the ‘bad boy of homeschooling’, is known for his smartly stupid and sweetly dark humor, weaving experiences from his unique life into laughter. He’s a regular in clubs across the South and has featured in several national comedy festivals. In December, he released his Dry Bar comedy special, “Purity Pants.”
